Re-Patriots

Welcome to the future of cultural reclamation! As part of an elite crew your task is to restore the artifacts and cultural objects stolen by colonizers to their rightful owners, one heist at a time. Gather your team, select your target, and pull off a daring heist, then return your spoils to their homes. Artifacts may belong in museums, just not in the museums of colonizers.

Re-Patriots is a playbook-based conversion for Blades in the Dark. Most blades rules apply, and scores are executed in a similar fashion. Instead of taking place in a haunted ghost-punk city, Re-Patriots players raid museums throughout the world to recover famous (and not so famous) artifacts that were stolen from indigenous people and cultures during the colonization of the globe by European superpowers.

Re-Patriots converts Classes, Heritage, Actions, and Factions, and updates other parts of Blades in the Dark to take place in the world as we know it rather than the fantasy world of Duskvol. Re-Patriots takes inspiration from heist movies and team-based media like The A-Team, Oceans 11, and The Fast and the Furious and plays like a reverse Indiana Jones.
